SEO Article Writing – How To Write SEO Articles
Internet marketers have made SEO article writing way more complicated than it actually is. There is a good way of doing SEO article writing, a bad way of doing it, and a better way of doing it. We will cover the 3 further down in this post.
SEO article writing is done simply for on-page optimization. We all know how backlinks are important to improve search engine rankings, right? Well, on-page SEO has proven to have its role to play too. Now without further delay, let’s get into how to write them.
SEO Article Writing – The bad way
This is getting more and more shot dead by Google as time goes by. This is where the writer provides no real value to the visitor and instead stuffs his article or page with keywords. He just repeats many keywords he wants to target throughout the page in the attempt of tricking the search engines. I definitely don’t recommend that, because if you are caught, your site is shot!
SEO Article Writing – The good way
SEO experts say that you should write naturally, but make your article have a keyword density of 2% – 5%. This means that your keyword phrase (the phrase you are trying to target) should appear 2 – 5 times in every 100 words.
This way you can communicate some value to your readers AND show the search engines that you are indeed talking about the subject matter.
Most writers adopt this style and it’s been working pretty well for a long enough period of time now.
SEO Article Writing – The better way
If you want to go a few extra miles further, then you are most welcome to create super themed content. This is done by including tons of LSI keywords, together with your main keyword in your article.
You can do this in the following ways.
- Use the Google Wonder Wheel. Search for your main keyword in Google, then on the left sidebar, click more search tools. You will find the Wonderwheel there. Click on it, and you will be presented with some keyphrases related to your search term. And you know what? These are keywords that Google itself thinks are related, so you can’t go wrong!
- Use lsikeywords.com to generate your LSI keywords. Using the top 5 results is usually enough.
If the 3rd way doesn’t make much sense to you (or sounds too hard), then don’t worry. But whatever you do, do not go for spammy articles like the one described above (The bad one). Both search engines and readers hate it!

Great post..
So all is that means Keyword density in article body make your article good or bad, ha
Actually not good or bad.. but good or better..to the search engines! :)
Nice weblog. Thanks for sharing the info. i just came here to let you i like the blog.
I am happy to find much useful information in the post, writing sequence is awesome, I always look for quality content, thanks for sharing.
This is an awesome post, Winson. I wasn’t aware of the Google Wonder wheel or how to use LSI keywords. I guess we learn something new each day.
You’re right. It’s best to stay away from putting out content that spams a certain keyword all over the post. This action will prevent your readers from coming back to your blog or website. In order to have a successful & profitable website, you need repeat traffic. So many people focus on pleasing the search engines that they forget the reader of the blog also has a part to play in getting your blog noticed.
Thanks for your great wisdom and thanks for sharing!
Great tips Winson. I would like to know more about the Google Wonder wheel that you have mentioned. I follow the good way of writing but i think i will try the better way now. But first i will need to know more about the LSI keywords. You have given me a lot of ideas to begin working on. Thanks a lot for sharing.
